Sister Days Out

A recurring community event series organized for the AOII Atlanta Alumnae chapter, placing members at local Atlanta venues and experiences throughout the year to keep sisterhood connections active between larger chapter events. The events were designed to be low-barrier, fun, and well-documented, with photography produced on site to feed back into the chapter's social media and newsletter. Select outings layered an early book club discussion into the day before opening into the broader social, making intellectual engagement feel like a natural extension of sisterhood rather than a separate obligation. The series kept the chapter feeling active and connected across seasons.

Venue Planning & Coordination

Researched and coordinated event locations across Atlanta, selecting venues that fit the chapter's tone and logistics and managing all planning details ahead of each outing.

Book Club Integration

Structured select outings to open with a dedicated book club discussion hour before transitioning to the broader social, making literary engagement a seamless part of the day rather than a separate event.

Newsletter & Social Promotion

Created event graphics and distributed details across the chapter newsletter and social media platforms ahead of each outing, ensuring broad visibility and giving the full membership a clear, easy path to attend.

Event Photography

Served as the photographer at each outing, capturing candid moments and group photos that were shared across chapter channels to document the sisterhood's experiences and encourage future participation.
